Nostalgia Challenge hosted by Holly
While coloring this I realized I never made the connection from the name to the price! Of course I was only about 8 years old but I loved these syrupy little wax bottles! I couldnโt wait to bite the top off and slam them down like a shot of tequila!! Then chew the wax bottles until they turned hard and crumbled into little pieces and you spat little bits of them out for the next 2 hours! Ahhh youth!!

3 months agoI remember the little wax bottles with the Coca-Cola like taste ๐ and I loved chewing the little parrafin wax bottles until they crumbled into little pieces, like you said! That was half of the fun! The candy is still being made by Tootsie Roll Industries. You can buy them at Amazon or novelty shops. Nostalgic candy is a big thing now, and I'm here for it! 3 months agoYes! We American girls drank the syrup, chewed the wax bottle till it crumbled in our mouth then spit the wax pieces out! Now that I think about it, we were nuts!!! Great find and a fun memory that I havenโt thought about for decades!!! @๐ฆ arlene ๐ฆ

2 weeks agoAwww! You guys are so sweet to think of me โบ๏ธ Iโm ok, hoping to be able to join the RC family again soon. This summer has been a series of unfortunate events, construction disasters and bad neighbors resulting in 2 police barricades surrounding my building 1 @ 2 AM beating on my door to gain access to the building, then my father passed, he was 94 so I havenโt been in a very peaceful place and no patience to color, but Iโm working on it!
